Brief Bio.

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

Throughout this past year, I've slowly discovered the importance of health. It started out as just trying to lose a few pounds, but now it's a lifestyle. I've never felt healthier or happier in my entire life and I'm here to help you change your life too!

I'm 5'9" 125 lbs. I'm not looking to gain or lose weight. I'm just trying to improve by physique by losing fat and gaining muscle. Believe it or not (girls) strength training is what has helped me. I do improvise a small amount of cardio throughout the week, but my main focus is weights!

BUT..

The most important thing is the food you put into your body. Ever heard of 80% diet and 20% gym? Sorry to disappoint you, but no matter how many crunches you do, you won't be able to see  those abs without the right nutrition. I finally figured that out once I tossed the 100 calorie packs and the "lean" pockets. I'm not a believer in "calories in and calories out" because if you eat 100 calories of grapes or 100 calories of ice cream, they are going to have different nutritional values, and obviously the grapes will do better for your body. So I'm all about eating clean.

I also used to be an obsessive calorie counter, and recently got over it and started intuitive eating. I eat when I'm hungry (about every 3 hours), and I eat only whole nutritious foods. Everyone knows what they should eat and what they shouldn't, but it's up to you to make the right decision. Don't let food control your life like I've let it control mine for so long. Make a change for your health, your body, and your life!

Words of advice: Food doesn't define you. You define you.
